Unconsumption reader Brian Jewett told us about two of his DIY creative-reuse projects: pendant lamps and wall storage.
The kitchen of Brian’s new home — a converted loft in an old textile mill — lacked light. His solution: Combine several lamp cord sets (he used this kind) with empty, cleaned food containers.
Brian also found a new use for paint cans, screwing them onto a wall, using them as storage/hooks for gloves and scarves.
Head over to Instructables for additional photos/info about his lights (here) and wall storage (here).
