Michael Fegley of Fegley’s Brew Works in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley says his company operates two breweries that “upcycle approximately 6,000 pounds of spent grains (a byproduct of the brewing process) weekly.”
The company partners with Koehler Farms in Bethlehem Township to “feed the cattle herd the 312,000 pounds of yearly grains, and purchase this locally raised beef for use in all of our restaurants.”
